These instructions explain how to fill out Schedule L of Form 1118, which is used when a taxpayer needs to report changes in foreign taxes paid or accrued and corresponding inclusions under the Internal Revenue Code. The schedule requires information on decreases in amounts of foreign taxes paid or accrued, changes in inclusions, changes to foreign taxes paid or accrued, and changes in foreign tax credits claimed for each relation back year.
