Carryover Allocation of Low-Income Housing Credit

Form 8610 (Schedule A) is used by state housing credit agencies to report carryover allocations. The form includes fields for the name, EIN, and address of the housing credit agency granting the allocation, as well as the name, address, and TIN of the building owner receiving the allocation. The document also includes checkboxes for carryover allocation relief under Rev. Proc. 2014-49 and amended allocations. For IRS use only, there are fields for the names of buildings and owners receiving allocations, dates, and amounts of carryover allocations, and maximum applicable credit percentages for acquisition costs, rehabilitation expenses, and new construction expenses, if applicable. Instructions specify that this form is used to report carryover allocations, and specific instructions for lines 4-6 are provided.
