This document outlines procedures for obtaining a legal presence identification document in Colorado, specifically for Temporary Legal Residents. It includes two steps: Step 1 - Identity and Legal Presence which requires presenting certain documents like I-766, I-94 with photo, valid or expired driver's license or vehicle report from the US state or territory, and USCIS SAVE verification among others. Step 2 - Residential Address which requires submitting utility bills, credit card statements, rental agreements, insurance policies, payment receipts, vehicle registration or lease agreements. The documents must show the applicant's current Colorado address, including city and state, and must be dated within one year. Electronic documents are also accepted as proof of residency. Veterans and military personnel can provide their DD214 or military identification for a veteran or military indicator on the application. Applicants will be asked about organ donation during the process. Those unable to provide required documents may be eligible for exception processing.
