All noncitizens in the United States must report a change of address to USCIS within 10 days (except A and G visa holders and visa waiver visitors) of moving. Timely reporting a change of address also helps to ensure that we mail important notices and documents to the right place.

The document consists of two parts: a change of address form (Form AR-11) and a privacy notice. The change of address form is for reporting a new address to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) within 10 days of moving. Mandatory fields include family name, given name, Alien Registration Number, date of birth, present physical address, signature, and signature date. The form also includes optional sections for a mailing address and previous physical address. The privacy notice explains the collection and use of information provided on the form, stating it is mandatory under the Immigration and Nationality Act. It details purposes, disclosures, routine uses, and consequences of failure to comply with reporting a change of address.
