The Colorado Department of Revenue's Division of Motor Vehicles invites privately owned and non-governmental fleets with a minimum of 10 vehicles (excluding buses) to participate in the Colorado Fleet Registration Program (CFRP). Fleet owners must submit an application, providing their company name, owner name, title, address, mailing address (if different), principal office county, principal fleet management facility county (if applicable), and contact information. The number of vehicles and plates needed per county must also be indicated. For trailers, truck tractors, and SMM equipment, a single plate is issued, while passenger vehicles, light trucks, and GVW trucks receive a set of plates. Upon approval, the fleet owner will be notified to begin registering their vehicles with the appropriate counties.
