Dealer's Monthly Sales Report

Dealers are required to electronically file sales reports if their average sales exceed 20 units per month or if they deal motor vehicles, boats, or powersport units. Reports must be mailed by the 15th of the following month and include details such as total sales, units sold, and vehicle/boat ID number. Motor vehicle dealers should also attach Notice of Sale forms and Secure Power of Attorney forms with corresponding titles for each vehicle sold. Late submissions result in a $300 penalty. Separate reports are required for motor vehicle and boat dealers. Dealers may be exempt from attaching titles and power of attorney forms if they are electronic filers.
