Application for Permit License Plates

Application Process: To obtain a permit license plate for oil well servicing, oil well cleaning out, or oil well drilling machinery or equipment in Texas, applicants must first get a permit from the TxDMV Motor Carrier Division (MCD). Application Information: Applicants must provide their first name, middle name (optional), last name, suffix, address, city, state, ZIP code, email, phone number. Vehicles require vehicle identification number, current TX plate (if any), year, make, body style, description of vehicle including use. Instructions: Applications and copies of permits should be submitted to a TxDMV RSC in person or by mail. Fees, if applicable, should be paid in the form of a check, money order, or cashier’s check.
